Conflict of Interest Policy

Milkiyah: is committed to ensuring transparency, integrity, and objectivity throughout the editorial and publication process. Authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial staff must disclose any actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment, evaluation, or decision-making regarding a manuscript.

Authors

Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, professional, personal, academic, political, or other relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research, interpretation of findings, or publication of the manuscript.

Reviewers

Reviewers must disclose any competing interests that may affect, or reasonably be perceived to affect, their independence and objectivity. These may include financial relationships, institutional affiliations, collaborative relationships, academic competition, personal relationships, or prior involvement with the manuscript. Reviewers who cannot provide an impartial assessment must decline the review invitation.

Editors and Editorial Staff

Editors and editorial staff must disclose and recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have an actual, potential, or perceived conflict of interest arising from financial, institutional, collaborative, competitive, professional, or personal relationships. Manuscripts affected by such conflicts will be reassigned to another qualified editor without relevant competing interests.

Undisclosed Conflicts of Interest

Failure to disclose relevant conflicts of interest may constitute research and publication misconduct. Undisclosed conflicts of interest may compromise the integrity, objectivity, and credibility of the scholarly record. Allegations regarding undisclosed conflicts of interest will be investigated in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies and procedures for handling research misconduct.

Editorial Actions

Where an undisclosed conflict of interest is identified and confirmed, the journal may undertake appropriate editorial actions, including corrections, expressions of concern, retractions, or other measures necessary to maintain the integrity of the scholarly record.

Complaints and Reporting

Concerns regarding actual, potential, or undisclosed conflicts of interest should be reported to the editorial office with supporting information. All allegations will be assessed fairly, confidentially, and in accordance with the journal's ethical standards and relevant guidance from the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
