We really appreciate every manuscript submitted in Milkiyah. The first hurdle is an editorial screening where we evaluate whether a paper submitted is likely to suit the scope and focus. Afterward, we decide to take it forward for peer review and obtain the result of reviewers. Dozens of articles were submitted (20 papers) and after careful deliberation, we obtain six papers for being published in Milkiyah in the issue of  August 2023.  The issue of Vol. 2 No. 2, August 2023 will present various unique topics in the field of muamalah, hajj, waqf, zakat, and Islamic jurisprudence. The issue is written by 14 authors from 3 different countries (Indonesia, Hungary, and Malaysia) consisting of 8 Affiliations (Institut Ilmu Alquran (IIQ) Jakarta, UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Universitas Siliwangi, Tazkia Islamic University, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Kediri, University of Miskolc Hungary, UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta, International Islamic University Malaysia).
